Designer Babies Workshop

This workshop explores what genes are and how they affect us:

  • Are genes involved in whether we are a girl or a boy?
  • What about genes for the way we look?
  • If we know what particular genes do, should we be able to choose our favourite ones for our children?

This workshop involves an activity where some pupils get to dress up as cartoon characters and also a game where children can choose genes to create new cartoon characters.

Suitable for classes P6 and above. Workshop takes about an hour to complete and we bring all our own equipment. For more information and booking please go to our contact page.
