Diamond 9 game - Who would you trust with your DNA?
Which of these people would you trust with your DNA? Working in groups, you have to choose 9 cards from the 12 provided, and organise them on the board into people whom you would and wouldn't trust with the information contained within your DNA.
Would you trust a policeman over your parents?
Diamond nine is a discussion activity that can be used with children and adults of all ages.
By discussing in small groups, people can realise what values they think are important, and also see that other people have different values.

Working in pairs or small groups, students get a set of nine statements that relate to current learning.
They have to prioritise the statements into a diamond nine, ranking them in importance:
1 is a person/organisation they trust the most with their DNA.
5 is a person/organisation they trust the least with their DNA.
Note: There are 12 cards provided on the PDF - 3 of these should be removed before playing. There are also 2 spare cards - these can be used to make new people/organisations.
