If you could choose the genes for a baby, what do you think are the most important things to choose?
Would it be this? or might it be this?
Diamond nine is a discussion activity that can be used with children and adults of all ages.
By discussing in small groups people can realise what values they think are important, and also see that other people have different values.

Working in pairs or small groups, students get a set of nine statements that relate to current learning.
They have to prioritise the statements into a diamond nine, ranking them in importance:
1 is the statement they consider most important.
5 is the statement they consider least important.
